yesterday i went out to a belated birthday celebration to the restaurant of our choice – maier´s in salzburg. it belongs to the parents of my good friend who is living in new york right now (see blog post here). sporting a high ponytail and leo blouse yesterday, feeling like a cheerleader from the 80s or something.
had lots of fun, drank lots of red wine.

s.oliver – real star unplugged

this weekend i was invited to s.oliver´s real star award – an event i told you about when i got the invite (which was just as lovely as the evening itself). the real star is all about honoring the retailers for the good selling figures and saying “thank you”for the hard work they are doing to represent the company 300 days a year.
this year´s theme was “vintage” and most of the people came dressed in the 50s style which i really didn´t figure out how to dress like that yet still to look classy – as you can see on the pictures. but when i got there, i was surprised by how lovely all the girls looked in their pin up themed dresses, styled from head to toe like in a james dean movie.
i met a lot of other bloggers from vienna such as mangoblüte, dariadaria, fashiontweed, mike york, fanfarella and had a great time chatting the night away.
also, we were able to see some great performances, such as sharron levy from the voice and ross anthony – so the people from s.oliver did a great job preparing and realizing this amazing event.
the stage setup – so nice!
performance for the press by amazing sharron levy.

quick trip to paris

last week i was in paris for one night, just a short trip because i had some work to do there. i only had really little time to visit my beloved paris but used my time there wisely, took a stroll through saint-germain-des-prés, small side-trip to galeries lafayettes, had dinner at les deux magots and a glass of wine at some café near my hotel. next day only breakfast and then home again.
i wish work could always be as great.

how to…store jewellery

as of now i don´t have much space for my accessories, bags, jewellery and nailpolish in our recent apartment, but thanks to glossybox i can store my things in the very cute boxes the products get delivered in. also, we made our own storage shelf (DIY – BEST PROJECT EVER). as you can see in one of the pictures, we made a “closet” out of old wine boxes. looks very stylish, creates much space and is not very hard to make (also, really inexpensive – only thing is you have to drink loooots of wine to get that many empty boxes).

the good news although are that i will be moving in a new apartment very soon, therefore the focus for interior design will be on creating as much storage space for me and my bf as possible.
