with dita, it´s the same like with the chanel bag: there´s nothing more to say tha: it´s dita!

poly dreams.

Maxi denim

lately i keep thinking of denim blouses and different ways to wear them.
here is one combination that i would LOVE to wear.
these earrings i´ve seen in some magazine and took a picture because i really like them.
the michael kors watch has to be part of every outfit i´m wearing right now since i just got it this weekend.
for the rest – some great items that i really can´t afford at the moment – but one can still dream, right?
as i said above, i love denim blouses but still haven´t found a really nice one – tips, anyone?

the silk maxi skirt and the classy accessories create a good, everyday wearable contrast.

for the chanel bag – nothing more to say than: it´s a chanel bag.

click on the picture to be forwarded to my polyvore page where you can see prices and online shops for this outfit.

ootd

finally the temperatures became more spring like in salzburg, so we decided to take a walk into the city.
it was so nice outside, everybody was just wearing light jackets and the city was crowded with sun-seeking people. now i really can´t wait for my „love“ dresses i recently ordered – perfect for spring as you will see in further posts!
so here is what i was wearing today:
and the outcome of our stroll through the city was soooo good for me – i got my michael kors watch, but i didn´t choose the horn one because it looked too plastic in reality – instead, i bought the oversized, gold runway watch – YAAAY and i love love love it!

how did you spend your sunny weekend?

emil meets madison.

OK, this is going to be the last budapest post for now!
a very nice colleague of mine showed me two amazing places yesterday where i also got myself some goodies to take home.
GERBEAUD
first i want to show you the gerbeaud house, an amazing confectionary at vörösmarty tér with a really nice café (i had the best caramel-chocolate cake there), with viennese styled interior!
and (tam tam tam) i got my first macarons there!!! they look so sweet, taste like a sugar cloud and the gerbeaud packages will be recycled into jewellery boxes!

MADISON

and next i want to present to you „madison„, a very special place. it is definitely the most beautiful perfume shop i have ever been to. located at the famous „andrássy út“ they redesigned an old pharmacy into this impressing store. i also got myself a candle there that smells delicious! if you are ever in budapest, you should make a small detour to madison for sure.

AND A LITTLE EXTRA:
2 trousers i got at west end, a jeans (super super skinny) from pull&bear and silky trousers from mango with a white and black leo print.

szia! hello from budapest.

this was my last day in budapest and i finally had time to visit the city a little.
during my trip, my mind about budapest changed completely. at first, i thought that it was a glorious city once, but there is not enough money in hungary to keep the buildings renovated and as beautiful as they were – and i was right with this opinion, but i can see the true beauty of budapest now as well.

view over the buda part of the city from the gellert hill
the magnificent buildings get a mysterious touch through their crumbly facades, there are flower shops everywhere around the city and i believe that budapest has to be the greenest place in europe around summertime because you see trees and parks simply everywhere. for every house there are 3 trees, it seems.
i couldn´t really take pictures because i did a hop-on hop-off tour, so i have to preserve the beautiful images in my mind somehow – do you know this feeling when you see something so surreal and overwhelming, it simply takes your breath away? that´s how i felt today! even though i couldn´t take great pictures, enjoy the ones i captured over the past days:
wide land.
with the sun on my side.

west end shopping center – 3000 brands in over 300 shops

ready for business
isn´t this a great lamp? maybe one of the next diy projects…

such a cute, cute café – look at the chairs!

opera

taking a break.

all alone in a crowded place.

waiting for…?

music is a matter of interpretation.
